I think it's from China (the price was the first clue) but I hear they are pretty good at screwing it up too. Most of my pirated DVD's I think are subtitled in China (they word "soybean" keeps appearing in the subtitles everywhere). A while ago I saw The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe where they'd named Aslan the lion ICELAND, which lifted the movie an extra level. (Not as high, though). And in Finding Nemo they kept calling Nemo MEMO - It's in the title for god's sake! Maybe worth a blog of it's own

And yes I have kids so I buy kids movies (and then secretly watch them again after they've gone to bed)
